Phil and Cheryle Andre raise Performance Quarter Horses on the family farm, settled by his grandfather in 1909. The family has been showing horses for the better part of thirty years.  They have served as Members of the Boards of the Idaho Reined Cow Horse Association and the Idaho Quarter Horse Breeders Association. They have helped build the Reined Cow Horse industry into what it is today.

Along came a Spyder…. As one of Dan Roeser’s first clients, he helped them buy their first stud colt. The first time Phil tried to catch Chieftain Command, he tried to climb out of the pen like a spyder. That is how he got his nickname. In 1993 Phil and Cheryle finished the season, 17th AQHA Leading Performance Horse Breeders in the World. They did it with only two offspring competing. Demands Attention "Whitey" and Chieftains Pole Cat "Fred" (both by Chieftain Command) racked up Sixty-One wins between them.

Looking at all the daughters of Spyder they had kept and showed, it was now time to find a young stud to cross them with.  Three year-old Pecas Olena “ Troy “ was purchased and sent to Dan Roeser.  Together Dan and Pecas Olena won more than $60,000 in the NRCHA, NRHA, NCHA and AQHA.  He has earned the NRCHA Supreme Reined Cow Horse award and his AQHA Superior in Reining. His babies have done it all.
